Sir,Kudos to the hon’ble Administrator and
officers of the Education Dept. and also to the Central
Govt. for having blessed the Lakshadweep students with
twin benefits. According to the Lakshadweep Times dated
11 and 12 May, we have come to know that the scholarships
have been raised by 300% and that will be paid
through the State Bank of India.
This must be the result of constant and concerted
efforts by many in the Administration and in the
Central Govt. about which we are not aware, at this stage.
We do not know the pain and sufferings of a plant in bringing
forth fragrant flowers. Yet we hasten to enjoy its
beauty. So we pray for the well-being of all those who
tried their best in achieving this scholarship enhancement.
We hope that the disbursement of scholarship will
become timely by new system of paying through the bank.
