Odam Painting Displayed in Kalajada 2011

Odam, the traditional sewing craft used for transport between islands and mainland remains a nostalgia for every islander today. This painting was displayed in the Kalajada marking the beginning of the first ever UT level Kalothavam 2011. It Represented our past which was full of burden and ease. We the people of Lakshadweep need to Study our History and traditions in order to make Our roots firm. May These attempts open a door towards this magnificent goal.
